Bloggers Night Out!

I missed June and July for the Van city blogger meet-ups due to my travel plans but as promised, I joined the group back upon my return in August.

And so last Tuesday, I headed over to Gastown for a little shoot with Alex and Cee and were soon joined by Louise and Cara. At Alex's brilliant suggestion, we did the Beatles walk which turned to be a genius idea if only I would have worn a more delicate pair of shoes.

A Latin flavored dinner at Cobre was followed with too many pitchers of sangria along Melissa, Jen and Lynn who I finally had the pleasure of meeting that night.

I, of course missed my partner in crime Jen of Her Waise Choice who wasn't able to make it!

My blog has allowed me to meet many wonderful people all across the world and I am happy to say that finally I have met a group of girls at home that I enjoy hanging out so much with.

With sad regret, I must announce that these shorts have since Monday parted ways with my wardrobe. Not for any other reason except they do not fit me anymore and I finally realized the day I took these photos that even a scoop of ice cream would keep me from breathing properly.

Not too mention they already make my very generous hips look hmm a lot more generous.

Now they have a new owner, one with a model skinny body that made them look so chic that I almost wanted to rip them off her and take them back!

But I knew that on me, they would never look this way!

Which got me thinking about trends and clothes and body types.

One of my biggest problems has always been that I sometimes get caught up in some trend that doesn't suit my body but buy the items anyways only to realize later how ill fitting they are on me.

Or I try to fit into a size much smaller than what I should wear only because the bigger size doesn't look as good.

Wouldn't it be nice if fashion companies would actually take our different body types in consideration when they make clothes? So in my search, I found Kandco which actually has the same range for plus sized clothing as for their regular clothing. Now, I know I'm not actually plus size but to me that is a treat to see that there are fashion brands out there that celebrate our curves!

Beach Princess

Too much travelling this summer took me away from spending time at the beach, one of my favorite places for chilling during warm summer evenings. Even the most unromantic will have their ice heart melted once they observe the beautiful Vancouver scenery and a glowy sunset. And when I was presented at the blogger swap with Cee's beautiful Grecian style dress, I knew that I just had to have it and take it for a sunset beach stroll.

I didn't lie when I said that my Vancouver social calendar has been keeping me busy.
Tonight I attended a fabulous party the way every party should be thrown... with pink champagne and yummy macaroons by Kitchening.

Banana Republic's " Mad Men" Party

Exactly 2 years ago I fell in love with the famous show " Mad Men" not just for its juicy plot but also for its amazing use of 60's fashion. So you can imagine when I had the opportunity on Thursday to view Banana's Republic Mad Men's inspired collection, I was ecstatic.

The hybrid child between the affordable luxury emporium and the show's costume designer Janie Bryant, the collection oozes femininity in classic cuts with a touch of retro. With an abundance of leopard and lace one can channel either side of the Mad Men female character. You can go for the leopard trench and get in touch with your inner Joan or try a more demure ivory lace dress and make Betty Draper proud. I opted to go for in between with this black lace shell which will soon debut in an outfit!

Blogger Clothing Swap

When I last stated that my social summer was coming to an end I wasn't technically lying. Although my travelling social calendar has come to and end, the local Vancouver scene is buzzing with parties and blogger events.

And so on Sunday I had the pleasure of heading over to Cee's of Coco and Vera who hosted an amazing blogger (temporary) clothing swap. Jen from Her Waise Choice, Louise of Fifth Sparrow and Cara of A Fashion Love Affair joined us and brought beautiful items that I have swapped with and will soon showcase on the blog.

We chatted for hours about anything and everything related to fashion and the blogging community. Great talks accompanied by champagne and yummy appetizers prepared specially for us by Cee's husband is definitely the way I enjoy spending a great evening.

A Pixie Obsession

Officially I can say that I am addicted to anything and everything Pixie.That includes the killer patterned heel shoes and the over-sized clutch. They sit prettily on my shoe and bag display across my bed, cheerily saying "Good Morning" to me each day I open my eyes. They wink at me and ask me to take them for a spin around town and I happily oblige.

Because from today on, I've left the Romanian story-telling behind until next year when my travel adventures will take me back!

Next up, what's a girl to do when she has to cancel her London trip yet she is dying to see the city? Take a few hours stroll in between her flights.

The root of my heart

Despite my strong middle eastern features and a knack for blinging it on like they do back there, I very much at heart feel Romanian.

I've always enjoyed a modern take on old Romanian traditions, and this Lana dress does exactly that beautifully combining an old folkloric print with digital printing.

The result: A simple yet stunning ( and very comfortable) dress, perfect for hot summer days!

So how can one debut such a special piece?

By taking it for a stroll through the Village Museum but of course!

What's one to do on a hot summer evening in Bucharest?

None other than take a stroll through the Old City!!!

You may never know who you may ran into as I'm happy to see that Lipscani has become the place to see and be seen!

I have been visiting the Old City during my summer travels ever since I was 15, when the streets were really run down and the in vogue crowds were nowhere to be found.

Now it has exploded with quaint cafes and enchanting street artists entertaining the loads of people lining the cobble stone streets.

It seems that Little Paris has come to life again!

Romanian Shopping Goodies

My adventures have come to an end for the time being, yet the story telling continues. Although it didn't exactly go as planned ( i.e. health emergencies/trip cancellations), I spent a wonderful summer in beautiful places and created lots of memories, some of which have come back in the form of shopping goodies picked up along the way.

It first started with a trip at the newly opened Pixie Shoes showroom, where their wonderful PR girl, Nookie along with Alice helped me pick two wonderful shoes, a pair of ballet flats and the most wonderful patterned heels ever. These shoes are truly genius, one the of the ultimate statement shoes!

And hell, I even threw in a custom made leather clutch in a bright colour, something that I have been coveting for so long yet could not find.

Shoe shopping didn't stop there, because a short trip to a local market brought me to these cute rubber Chanel-esque look alike ( which kinda bother me in a way). And since they were so extremely inexpensive * ( hello $5 shoes)*, I got them in two colours and probably would have purchased even more if they had them in my size.

A short trip to the northern-eastern side of Romania, found me shopping local artisans for traditional folkloric peasant tops and scarves.

Along the way I also picked up a straw bag, two hand painted leather masks from a local artist and an old painting which is just waiting to be hanged.

I've always had a soft spot for Romanian designers especially when they combine traditional Romanian prints in their designs. So this Lana dress just had to come home with me!

And as you remember the visit to the Genuine.ro event, brought me face to face with the Rue des Trucs girls, where I had the opportunity to buy one of their beautifully constructed pieces !

So what's in the package?

Ivory and Drape!

I've always wanted to go to a Romanian vintage fair yet none seemed to be happening during the time when I was in Bucharest. So you can expect how pleasantly surprised I was when during one of my evening strolls throug the old city , I found myself right in the middle of one. These golden beauties from Italian Vintage have already graced my little ears!

And last but not least, my dear friends Alice and Nookie spoiled me with gifts. Alice, master headband craftswoman, created this cute piece for me which you probably remember from the last post.

And Nookie dearest presented me with a beautiful sunflower necklace probably to symbolize our photo shoots in a sunflower field ( individually done in different locations yet at the same time).

Later this week, the first outfit post with some of the goodies will be shown!

The end of a social summer

The last of my blogger meet-ups is finally here and we sure saved the best for last or at least the biggest, as it sure was with 12 of us. What actually started as a little meet-up with The Hearabouts soon turned into a blogger explosion as Laura, Ioana, Medina, Alina, Koko, Alice, Nookie, Ana and Florina joined us. I obviosly had a blast meeting all the girls but felt guilty that due to the limited time, I could not spend enough time getting to know each one of them. This is something that will have to be resolved on my next trip as my social calendar in Romania has come to an end.

Unfortunately due to an unexpected health emergency on my part I had to cancel my London trip for this year so I am still in Bucharest. But the doctor has ordered bed rest for the time being so for now till I get back to my usual energetic self, I am stuck inside.

As said already, my social calendar while in Romania has been full with blogger meet-ups.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of meeting up with the lovely girls from Bucharest Style and the one half of Absolutely Fabulous or more specifically Diana. After a short chat at Madame Pogany, I couldn't resist not purchasing some local goodies, so we headed over to Genuine.ro, a fair featuring only Romanian designers.

I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing girls from Rue de Trucs, who design heavenly draped dresses, one that has made its way into my closet and I'm very excited to showcase soon.

For the first installment, I met Ana, Stella and Anca and obviously my posse Alice and Nookie always tag along. Being in the company of so many stylish girls, I felt a strong surge of inspiration. Each girl had something amazing I wanted starting with Stella and her cute dress, then Ana's amazing silver and turquoise accessories and Anca's beautiful skirt made by a Romanian designer.

2 years ago when I started thing blog, my best friends on the blogosphere became Alice and Nookie.

That summer I met them in person and since then they have transformed from virtual buddies to real buddies, the type that you are just dying to come back home and hang out with.

Despite having already met so many other wonderful local bloggers, I will always have a special connection with these two as they were part of the original posy, the one that made me realize that the most important thing this blog can give me is friendships that will last way beyond the virtual charm of blogging.

Our first day consisted of many laughs and story telling just as the first day we met where instantaneously I felt I could open up to them with my most ludicrous secrets!

Being here for such a short period I will try to take advantage of any free time I have to share as many memories with them as I can!

A 6 years celebration in the heart of where it all started!

After a long plane ride with an arrival at midnight Monday evening, I popped a sleeping pill and woke up fresh and ready to enjoy my hometown of Bucharest the next day!

Although the morning was spent visiting relatives, the late afternoon was dedicated all to oursevles in the old city which I have always loved for its old world charm. It feels completly detached from the rest of Bucharest, with wonderful restaurants and enchanting architectures.

6 years ago, my fiance and I met during one of my summer travels right here. So we were both so happy, when our 6 year anniversary date fell exactly on our first day of the trip. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at a Turkish restaurant in the area while sipping on a bottle of rose and reminiscing of the past 6 years: the good times and the bad.

To top the evening, I ran into Ana-Maria from High Street Cardigans which I recognized instantly, although it took me a while to get the courage to get up and say Hello!

Japan Day 16: Ghibli Museum

If one is found in Tokyo, a trip to the Ghibli Museum is a must. The museum features the amazing anime works of the famous illustrator Hayao Miyazaki who is best known for his movie " My neighbour Totoro.". If Disneyland is where dreams come true, Ghibli makes you become lost children in a space uniquely created to make even the most mature adults find their inner child.Unfortunately no pictures allowed inside the magical museum! Finish your visit at their cafe, where you can savour the most delicious Japanese pear ice cream! So refreshing for hot Tokyo summer days!

For now I will have to say goodbye to my Japan posts! I still have a few days left of Tokyo story telling yet due to the busy schedule I had on the trip, updating the blog every day was not possible. There is also a wonderful shoot I had the pleasure of doing while in Kyoto which I have saved for you upon my return from my travels in August. Because right now I'm embarking on another plane, this time for Europe, where I will spend 10 days in my home country, then off to London I am. This time my photographer is coming along so expect a full documentary of my outfits and my days.

Japan Day 15: Akihabara

Akihabara also known as Electric City in Japan, is a major shopping area for electronics, computer goods, anime and otaku ( Otaku is what the Japanese refer to those with obsessive interests in the manga/anime culture). And I'm not talking here a mere hobby. I'm talking living in fantasy land with blown up life size manga characters where the individual has completely withdrawn from reality.

If you want to observe their lives even more, look no further than the Maid Cafe phenomenon, where a typical manga style maid will serve tea and desserts. Although mostly frequented by men or so I saw, 3 of the girls in our group including myself and 3 guys decided to brave the awkwardness of this experience and see it for ourselves. And so we went down an alley and up a sketchy elevator to a completely different land, where we were welcomed with a flattering " welcome home master/princess!".

No picture allowed of the girls or the interior except of the food. And so the experience began with awkward English conversations about sprinkling magic on our desserts for more deliciousness and some "twinkle- twinkle" little dance. Some men even paid an extra fee so that the maid would play a little board game with them. As strange as all of these services may seem there is absolutely no sexual tone in this experience. I guess the maid cafe has replaced in the modern subculture the role of a geisha as both are really just entertainer, entertaining the likes of men!

Japan Day 14: Harajuku

I had the pleasure of spending almost a whole day in Harajuku or more specifically Takeshita Dori, where the cute Lolita girls parade the streets in their amazing frocks. We visited one of these stores and although not really my style, I had a blast helping one of the girls in my group choose the most kawaii outfit!

Still I managed to find quite a lot of interesting things that are totally ME, that I will debut soon on the blog. I must say that shopping in Harajuku is extremely inexpensive as long as you don't venture into the Lolita zone!

Snapping pictures of the passerby was harder than imagined though. A lot of them refused or even covered their faces when seeing the camera turn towards them. A few candid shots I did manage though.

Japan Day 11&12: Miyajima and Hiroshima

After the party on Friday, waking up early the next morning to catch the bullet train to Hiroshima was hard. I was long awaiting the ride on the famous Shinkansen bullet train. I somewhat believed that it would move so fast that images out the window would become blurry. I was pleasantly surprised that at 300km/hour I could still happily observe the beautiful scenery of the Japanese countryside.

Once we arrived in Hiroshima and checked in at out hotel, we hopped over on a ferry boat which took us to the island of Miyajima, Japanese for " shrine island".

Miyijima is most famously known for its giant Torii Gate which seems to float on top of the water at high tide.

Miyajima is most definitely a very romantic place, with wandering deers surrounding the paths of tourists and little vendor streets filled with traditional shops. Visiting it definitely gives you a great view of the Japanese countryside.

We couldn't finish the evening without some of Hiroshima's famous okonomiyaki, a savoury Japanese pancake consisting of noodles, cabbage and seafood topped with an delicious sauce.

The second day we went to downtown Hiroshima or more specifically to the Peace Memorial Museum. The museum collects and displays belongings left by the victims of the tragic atomic bomb event of 1945. It is an extreme;y painful visit yet so humbling. Unfortunately, it really left me in a sickening state of mood the whole day, so I was unable to snap any pictures.

I am bewildered by the fact that although just about 65 years ago this city was in ashes and ruins, it has been able to reconstruct itself into a great cosmopolitan city. Yet, the sadness of those events still lingers and the whole city has a very gray and somber feel, or at least that was my impression.

At least I can put that all behind as Tokyo is awaiting us!

Japan Day 10: Last Day In Kyoto

My trip in Kyoto has come to an end and I'm terribly sad mostly because I am leaving my wonderful buddies from Ryukoku University behind. Seeing Hiroshima and Tokyo without them will not be the same, that's for sure.

I spent the morning visiting Gosho Palace, the old imperial palace of Kyoto which I will spare you pictures of. Truthfully I did not find the architecture that special in comparison to some of the other amazing places we visited!

I took the opportunity to spend my last free time in Kyoto downtown with my buddies at a beautiful dessert cafe upstairs overlooking Shijo, Kyoto's main shopping district area. I will most likely do another post on shopping in Kyoto and where the hot spots are for those of you interested!

We finished the evening with a Farewell party at the university which continued with the after-party at the seminar house where we where housed till later in the night!

Japan Day 8 & 9: Nishijin Textile

As a past fashion major, I was extremely lucky to find that we had 2 whole days devoted to learning about Japanese textiles. The first day was spent at Nishijin Textile Center where we watched a kimono fashion show, had a demonstration of hand weaving and learned more about the art of making an obi.

The second day, we spent the whole morning at a fourth generation textile maker's house where we designed our own textile and made a little handkerchief.

In between I squeezed in a little shopping session with Natsumi at Kyoto Station where we both bought fake hair pieces. Japanese girls love to style their hair each day differently and they best achieve that through wigs and hair accessories.

Japan Day 7: Nara

I was long awaiting my visiting to beautiful Nara, the old capital of Japan (710-794 AD) yet we were extremely unlucky as our visit was ruined by heavy rain for almost the whole day. That's what you get for visiting Japan during the rainy season. For those of you considering a visit, the best time is April when the cherry blossoms are out!

We visited Todai-Ji Temple where the chief object of worship is the Vairocana Buddha ( "Buddha that shines throughout the world like sun"), a magnificent bronzed cast statue, plated in gold.

Shinto Shrines! Can you see the differences by now between Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples? I took me a while to observe the differences!

We stopped for lunch at the famous Nara Hotel for a traditional Japanese lunch.

Horyungi was also part of our visit which is Japan's first world cultural heritage which houses the world's oldest wooden structures, conveying images of Japan as it existed more than 1300 years ago during the Asuka Period.

I must actually confess that I'm definitely not in Day 7 and I have actually departed Kyoto. Yet as our visit consists of a lot of temples, shrines, castles and palaces which start to look the same after a while, I will spare you the details. Yet I still have 2 more posts from Kyoto before discussing with you Hiroshima where I'm currently at!

Japan Day 6: Toaji Market

Tuesday morning, despite the high temperatures that suddenly rose after days of rain, we headed over to the famous Toaji Market, which happens on the 21st of every month. Toaji is probably the biggest flea market that happens in Kyoto, yet despite what you would think, the prices are ridiculously high. It is famously known for the antique vendors yet the prices are not like back home. Something that would cost back home $1, here it would be about $20.

Nonetheless I was extremely lucky to find a second-hand kimono for $10 with an amazing pink obi for $20. As prices usually start about $100 for the cheapest kimono, this was an extremely good deal although the kimono is quite old and has a few not very visible little stains. A Gaijin girl picking a kimono drew quite a flock of Japanese women visiting the market who made sure to give me their honest opinion on the best kimono for me.

We finished the day with the cheapest and yummiest sushi I have ever ate: $1 for a plate of 2 pieces.

Japan Day 5: Shopping Osaka

On Sunday I had the pleasure of visiting Osaka City as both my buddies actually live in Osaka but commute every day to Ryukoku University in Kyoto. So I took them up on the offer of seeing their city or mostly do a lot of shopping as Osaka is truly just known for being a huge commercial metropolis.

We did do one of their attraction The Hep 5 Ferris Wheel where we could see a skyline view of the city.

Then we continued shopping the Hep 5 shopping centre and Imp shopping centre where I found the hat I'm wearing in these pictures. Japanese fashion is soooo Kawaii (cute).

I must say my buddy Natsumi who was my shopping partner for the day is amazing. We have similar style and we work perfectly together as we are both very slow and indecisive shoppers taking our time carefully choosing each piece we add to our wardrobes.

Nonetheless I left Osaka with my hands full of shopping bags!

Japan Day 4: Fushiminari Shrine

Friday started with our usual Japanese culture class with the focus this time on the perception of Japanese people of World War II. It was interesting to find out that Japanese teachers were specifically instructed to diminish the teachings of Japan's negative involvement in the war and how a lot of Japanese feel they were the victim of the powerful USA.

We then headed for our usual udon lunch spot after which we had a seminar on Buddhism. The most important teaching that really stuck with me was the idea that being happy should not be dependent on something, such as : the love of a person, being young, one's beauty, one's hobby or one's material possessions. It's the idea that nothing will satisfy you indefinitely and that " things" do not bring you satisfaction.

For one who half of this trip I've been obsessed with shopping and buying as much as I can, this lecture really calmed me down and made me more grounded if I could say.

We finished the day with a visit of Fushiminari Shrine, a Shinto shrine which is where all these pictures are from.

Japan Day 3: Gion Corner

We started the day with a class on Japanese culture where we discussed the differences between family life in North America and Japan. We then headed over for some udon lunch with our buddies after which we continued with a seminar on intercultural studies taught by an American professor with a focus on culture shock.

The afternoon was spent in downtown Kyoto doing some shopping, but the main attraction of the day was a tea ceremony and Maiko dancing in the famous Gion Corner.

Walking around the famous Gion district with the very exclusive tea houses and real Maikos ( performers) roaming the streets made me feel like I was part of the famous novel Memoirs of a Geisha. I couldn't believe that such a famous and old tradition that I believed was just a myth is still very much in practice in today's age. When you look at a Maiko, there are so many layers to peel away from them. They wear a mask of haunting beauty as the outer layer, snow white skin that you are too afraid to touch, with blood red lips.

It seems the ghosts of Japan's history are still wandering through the downtown streets of Kyoto.

Japan Day 2: Kyoto Temples

The morning started with a campus Tour of Ryukoku University, the wonderful school that is hosting our stay here in Kyoto. After we meet our lovely student buddies, Natsumi and Keiko, we were taken to Izusen, for an authentic vegetarian Japanese lunch. I have no idea about half the stuff I ate but there were delicious and I'm trying to be adventurous with food here and try and eat everything.

The rest of the afternoon was spent at Kinkakuji Temple or the Golden Pavilion, Ryoanji Temple and Kiyomizu Temple. Most of the pictures shown here are from Kinkakuji and Kiyomizu which were the most spectacular.

I finished the day souvenir shopping where I just had to buy myself an authentic silk Japanese fan to keep me cool in this insanely hot weather.

I later took it for a stroll in the evening to grab dinner with my group mates.

Japan: Day 1: Getting there

So it's Wednesday morning 6:30 am, here and I have been awake since 5:00 due to jet lag. Today is our first day in Kyoto and I hope this wont affect my ability to enjoy the sights. Our trip was tiring but went pretty well!

Food plane is so much more delicious when its Japanese!

Now I'm armed and ready to take on the beautiful city with my map of Kyoto and my Japanese phrasebook.

As you are reading this post, I'm most likely boarding my flight to Japan!

This day has long been awaited and I'm so excited yet scared at the same time!

I've always been one to embrace change yet fear of the unknown especially when dealing with it on your own can be overwhelming at times! Fret not though, as I am a highly adaptable human being and very soon I will be extremely comfortable in my new environment!

So I've packed my whole life for 18 days in this suitcase including an extra large carry-all for all the treasures I will be bringing back. And I expect I will be bringing back A LOT!

I've also snuck inside a couple too many water bottles...a little fear of radiated water still looms in my mind!

As to what I will be wearing on the trip.... well you will see me in a lot of delicate whites...

.... as well as some bright reds and corals....

....florals in the summer can never be excluded....

...and some funky black and white prints!

And now I'm set to embark on my fabulous journey and hopefully share it with you along the way. Due to my poor photography skills I decided not to bring my bf's SLR camera. As well, the camera's weight is too much for me to lug around all across Japan and I do want to enjoy myself while I'm there!So you will have to do with my Canon G11! I'm hoping it will not disappoint although the pictures will not be as fantastic as they could have been if I would have travelled with my other half!

A day at the Art Gallery

As the Japan trip is approaching, my days are getting busier and busier. Getting through them by running from one appointment to the other isn't easy but yesterday everything was made enjoyable due to a lot of great company and an amazing location: The Vancouver Art Gallery.

It started with a lovely lunch with Jen on the Gallery's Cafe adorable patio. She has just come back from her Europe trip, and I just had to hear all the amazing details especially about London shopping and sightseeing. Our conversations soon turned towards career choices after graduation and plans for the near future while lunching on quiches and salads. I must say she truly dressed perfectly for this wonderful location. Unfortunately I can't say the same about myself. Due to the busy schedule I opted for flats and a comfortable dress.

After lunch I met with my dearest friends, Maliheh and Jasmin who was kind enough to snap a couple of picture of the two of us. I then proceeded to check out the latest exhibitions at the gallery including the Surrealist Revolution , Jim Campbell's work as well as Vancouver based artist Ken Lum.

The day ended with dinner on the patio this time with the lovely Roshanak!

...and since I has such a strong sugar craving all day long and this chocolate pudding kept winking at me , I finally gave in and totally spoiled myself!

Summer is fully underway and lots of party invitations, some more fancier than others are sitting prettily on my desk. Naturally the first thing that comes to mind when opening each one, is

"What will I wear?"

And so I ventured back to my neck of the woods, West Vancouver to check out Blush Occasions' stunning collections of spring cocktail dresses!

As I've already accustomed you by now to anything that sparkles, it should come to no surprise that I went for the glitziest dresses in the store.


A beautiful cobalt blue dress will always make you stand out in a sea of black!


This dress is as sexy as you'll ever see me. I gravitated towards it because I've always loved wearing white to summer parties. It always looks so good with naturally-looking tanned skinned!


Oh the glitz just screamed to me: "Try me on"


...and sure I did! This dress could be the perfect dress to bring with me to Vegas for my quarter of a century b-day!


This dress has everything I like in a summer dress: sparkles on a white canvas! The flattering silhouette is the cherry on top of the cake!


The neckline of this dress really caught my attention! It's like having a beautiful statement necklace on!

For something more young and flirty this dress is my favorite! The texture of it is exactly what I like for dancing till dawn!

And since I myself have a very important party coming up at the end of the summer ( details will be coming later) I just had to try some long evening gowns as well!


This dress made by Theia, a Montreal-based designer who used to work for the House of Chanel is a dream come true!


But the winner of them all is this minty green Theia Dress. The Grecian silhouette has been a favorite of mine for many years. To me this is exactly how I envision myself at this very important event!

I'm trying not to be such an impulsive shopper anymore and so I left empty handed! But I have a feeling that one of these dresses will be making its way into my closet very soon!

A blogger picnic

I have been blogging for 2 years now and along the way have made amazing friendships with other bloggers from all over the world.One of my closest friends who is also a blogger lives on the other side of the world. Despite all this, for some unknown reason I never really got to know many of Vancouver's finest bloggers except for my dear friend Jen from Her Waise Choice.

So when I was finally invited to take part in the 3rd Vancouver bloggers meet-up I was over-ecstatic. The setting : a blogger picnic on the beach which lasted for hours despite the windy weather we were experiencing.

We had so much to talk about from who takes our photos, to how we got into blogging, to differences in opinion over Kate's wedding dress!

So who did I have the pleasure in meeting?

Cee from Coco and Vera who is the mastermind genius behind the blogger meet-ups. Without her, we would not been able to experience this. She organized everything perfectly.

Alicia of AliciaFashionista whose amazing boyfriend Adam snapped all these gorgeous pictures of us. I have 0 photography skills and when I found myself for the first time without my photographer, I freaked out. Alicia was kind enough to let me use all of her photos and I'm extremely grateful to her and Adam who also lend me his sunglasses for some of the photos!

Alex of To Vogue or Bust, who I've already had the pleasure of meeting after the Obakki show for ramen and found we have so much in common! This girl is hilarious! I always laugh so much when I'm around her!

Looking for the perfect place to spend Saturday evenings? Look no further than one of the great restaurants in Yaletown! Because that's what we sure did when we were invited to a birthday celebration that soon turned into a surprise marriage proposal! As I am in the same stage of my life as the newly engaged birthday girl, I was overwhelmed with joy for her.

I knew I wanted to wear some sparkle for this occasion and this skirt was just perfect thing. I'm also in love with mixing prints and overall I was very pleased with this outfit! As to not overwhelm the whole look, I kept the accessories neutral!

How can one wear a Victorian blouse without looking stuck in the past? How about wearing a leather mini without appearing skanky? The answer for me was obvious: Combine the two together! The Bag Collection

When I was a 14 years old, I had a big affection for bags, usually the quirkier the better. A green leather barbie doll head print was one of my favorites along with a felt poodle shaped one! With age my taste in bags has gotten a bit more classic! 10 years later, my favorites have changed!

My favorite of the bunch is now my Mulberry Bayswater, probably because it is my newest worthy bag acquisition!

The London Fog bag is my travel bag! I purchased it with a matching luggage set for the ultimate jet set chic outfit! When I travel I carry a lot so a big bag is necessary but I also want it to retain its shape after a 20 h flight. This bag does exactly that!

The Loeffler Randall bag is the perfect spring/summer bag. For some unknown reason it never receives too much deserving love and attention!

The Vintage Chanel bag used to belong to my mom in the late 80's/early 90's! She received it the week I was born as a present from my grandparents from my father's side! I'm sure it must have been quite a bag for a girl in communist Romania! Growing up I used to mock the bag, but as soon as I turned 18 I realized its value and have loved it ever since!

The Aldo Kelly look-alike is a favorite at the moment because of its colour and shape. It's the perfect substitute till I can afford the real deal!

The vintage burgundy bag is the oldest bag in my closet. I bought it when I was 17 from a local vintage store. Since then it has been lugged around everywhere and has sustained its fare share of spilled drinks after a night of too much celebrations!

Both clutches are vintage and I adore them to death! The brown one was a great score from a local flea market while the green one was purchased about 5 years ago from a vintage shop on Main Street!

Time of the Season

A new weekend approaches, one where I won't sit still at all. Renovations have began at casa de Faboulista. In between painting my walls ( yes I'm finally doing it... no more white) and shopping for some new furniture ( an art deco blue chair awaits me), I'm hoping I will be able to squeeze in a little picnic with the family by the lake.

Going through these photos reminded me of the time I used to be in fashion school and I used to spend half of my time and money at Opus buying supplies for school and lugging around a portfolio similar in size to the frames I'm carrying. Although I will never go as far to say that I regret leaving half way through fashion school ( business school was the best decision of my life) , I somehow miss those days. Although I was frantic and tired all the time, I did get a bit of enjoyment being part of the artsier scene, where my imagination was explored to its fullest potential!

Banish the blues away with some pink!

That's 70's glam

Who: Two Persian girls ( moi and Roshanak, remember her from this post here?)

Where: Prado Cafe on Commercial Drive. A New York style cafe situated in the heart of Vancouver's bohemian town.

When: a long time ago, when the weather still called for black tights and Roshanak was freezing bare legged. This is the last post you see me in tights till the cold weather arrives once again!

Why: Because an amazing vintage fringe jacket had to be showcased in the best possible light. Yes I am talking about Roshanak's jacket that inspired not only the rest of her outfit but also mine. A gem that once it no longer gets the love and attention from its current owner, will hopefully end up in my closet.

How: I grabbed my photographer and dragged him all the way to Commercial on a sunny afternoon by bribing him with a pitcher of sangria!

The Princess Shine

Earlier this week I came across this beautiful dress. It has everything my heart desires: a rich and decadent brocade in the softest colours. A dress perfect for a modern Marie Antoinette.

And then I read that this marvelous creation belongs to a 17 years old from East Hampton still in high school and my mind was just boggling at the talent of today's youth. I remember at 17 I had just finished sewing my very first garment for my fashion school portfolio: a cotton sun dress made from a store bought pattern. I considered it amazing work at the time but now my poor cotton dress is starting to look like Cinderella's raggedy rag clothes in comparison to the lovely Princess Shine dress by Sarah Leora.

I'm most intrigued to see what this talented young designer will be coming up in the next few years!

Secret Diary of a Fabulous Girl

About 3 years ago, oh maybe even longer, a show called the Secret Diary of a Call Girl stole my heart.

As it revolves around the complicated life of Hannah portrayed masterfully by Billie Piper, a seemingly normal girl, who lives a secret life as a call girl, one becomes enchanted by the complicated story plot of her colliding two worlds.

Just like Sex and the City, the first few seasons were cleverly written but lacked avant-garde outfits to make a fashionista go crazy for the show. Season 4 changed it all when the season begins with Hannah looking at her newly posh house caring a coral patent Mulberry Bayswater. I then realized I had more in common with this girl than I thought mind you mine is the black pebble leather version.

I realize the picture shows a red Bayswater but I swear to you it was coral on the show.

So when she sported this wacky outfit , few episodes later, well, it inspired me to give it a try too.

I had the black jumpsuit, I had a white furry ( faux) overthrow and a BLACK Bayswater.

So how could I incorporate a bit of that colour into my outfit? By swapping the black bow headband scarf with a purple and red printed one.

Obakki Fall/Winter Fashion Show

Last night, Jen ( Her Waise Choice) and I attended the Obakki Fall/Fashion show as the golden girls. We coordinated our outfits so that we could both show off our newest golden vintage acquisitions. It definitely feels wonderful having a partner in crime who shares your love for decadence.

Let's talk politics

I've never been one to be interested in politics, still this coming election has sparked my curiosity a bit. I now spend several hours of my time on political forums readings other people's opinions yet out of fear I never really join the conversation. And through my quest of trying to decide which way to vote, I found this extremely smart joke which applies not only to Canadians heading into the election but for any country who has before, now or soon going to hear political campaigns.

So I leave you reading and wondering along with my transitional outfit of spring and winter.

While walking down the street one day a "Member of Parliament" is tragically hit by a truck and dies.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

'Welcome to heaven,' says St. Peter.

'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.'

'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.

'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.'

'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the MP.

'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people.

They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly & nice guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises....

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him.

'Now it's time to visit heaven.'

So, 24 hours pass with the MP joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'

The MP reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.'

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage.

He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. ' I don't understand,' stammers the MP.

'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable.

What happened? '

The devil looks at him, smiles and says, ' Yesterday we were campaigning.....

Today you voted.

Although worn a week before Easter, the look is fitting for this weekend's mood. Pastel colours, no matter the time of year always make me think of the Easter bunny and his basket full of eggs.

Vancouver Neighborhoods: Granville Island

Now that the sun is out, I can enjoy long beautiful walks through our lovely city every weekend. Last Sunday was spent exploring Granville Island.

We hopped on a ferry boat from the docks near the Aquatic Centre which took us across the water straight to busy Granville Island.

So what did we explore first? Well we went to the marina and took photos of my outfit which you will be able to see in my next post. Hint : peachy pink anyone?

Then we explored all the little shops filled with beautiful crafts from pottery to handwoven scarves and hand picked jewelery from far away places. I picked up this beautiful silver elephant necklace.

A trip through the kid's market can't be missed if you find yourself on Granville Island. For sure visit the jokes shop on the second floor and pick up some joke or magic kits. We have a couple and they always prove entertaining at parties.

Next we stopped by the flower stands to look at the beautiful hydrangeas. Yes they are my favorite flowers if you haven't guessed by now. They are always sitting pretty on my entrance table in the spring time.

Lastly we shopped the public market for baguettes from the french boulangerie and some yummy truffle pate from Oyama Deli. If you have never tried their pates, you have truly missed heaven on earth.

We then hopped on the ferry boat which took us right back home where we enjoyed a late night unhealthy but very delicious snack.

Once again the [Heart] by Eugenia Enciu collection has grabbed my heart with the leopard skirt. You know by now how I have a love affair with leopard prints but mix in the flattering shape of the skirt, which yes it seems to be the same as its shimmer sister and you've got yourself a winner!

Now the only problem is that I can't get my hands on it till July when I will be heading back home to Bucharest and I will visit the Eugenia Enciu fashion studio. I mean I could always get it shipped ( yes for you living outside Romania it means you can order it and have it shipped to your house), but the waiting will make the reward so much more enjoyable!

In the mean time I can continue to Dream Leopard.

School is officially done minus one exam yet my vacation hasn't began!

Why you might ask?

Well, because I'm spending the weeks leading to my travelling, WORKING!

No, I did not get a job, but rather I have been commissioned to join my family's business for the time being. One of the benefits of working for your own company is that you can come to work at 10:30 am, take a 2 h lunch break which includes taking some outfit photos and hell even wear some leopard tights underneath that all black ensemble.

So what do I really do at work all day?

I check my facebook in between scheduling interviews for a new hire, I surf the net while I prepare a company policy manual and I burn up all my calories by running up and down the stairs every time my father calls me into a meeting!

If this is what work will be like after graduation, may I say, being a working girl won't be half as bad as I thought!

Over the weekend, I had the chance to go to 2 different flea markets. I must tell you that I enjoy flea market season like no other. Not even thrift stores beat the prices and you can always leave with bags full of gems.

Spring has sure arrived, well for the most part that it is!

You get days of complete sunshine, beautiful and warm and days of pouring rain and chilling winds!

To me this is the most insane season for planning your outfits. Looks can be deceiving and outside temperatures are not always what they seem. I can't yet completely leave my tights at home but I'm hoping that in about a month, that will be the case no more!

P.S. I am not freezing in this outfit. I had the chance of shooting it on a warm day last week. Unfortunately that can not be said about today! Still like everything in my life lately, I hope for the best but expect the worst!

First of all I should mention that in no way do I idolize Lady Gaga!

We all know by now that the Lady Gaga hysteria has creeped its way into fashion where even the most mainstream retailer will carry a Lady Gaga inspired piece.

By no means did I buy this headband to suit my inner lady gaganess! Rather I just could not say no to adding another headband to my collection.

Ever since I started this entrepreneurial marketing course I have been taken on an psychological roller coaster.

One week I do very well and the prospects of passing are looking bright while the next I bomb an assignment or test and think there is no chance for me.

It keeps on happening and I keep stressing. Now that I am close to the finish line, it's just an endurance game! In the end I realize that no matter what happens, I will come out much stronger than I was back in January as this is the true purpose of this course.

So from today on, I will try to stop looking down and hopefully things will start to look up for me!

Every time I'm asked to describe my style I'm at a loss for words.

Is it really bohemian?

Then I started looking for an obvious pattern.

Ever since I can remember I have been attracted to tacky, gaudy details.I enjoy flamboyancy and over the top obnoxiousness. Can you believe we have snow in March and in Vancouver from all the possible places? Craaaazzyyyyy!

We should be celebrating the start of spring rather than playing in the snow. Cause that's sure what I did this weekend.

Instead of working on my marketing case, I sled down the hill in my parents backyard, I build a 4 parts snowman, I had a snow fight with my siblings and squeezed in a little outfit shoot as well. Am I not productive or what?

In other news, the Montreal trip is a no-go.

Bummer cause I have never been and I was excited to check out the most European Canadian city. I was supposed to accompany my sister this spring to check out the possible universities she would be attending in the fall. It seems though she has ruled out all the Quebec Universities.

I think she has her eyes already set on non other than Dalhousie , yes the exact same university that hosted the business ethics competition I participated back in November!

Anyways to make up for this loss, and because she needs a prom dress for June, my mom who is oh so smart has decided to book a-girls-only shopping trip to Las Vegas!

Although not my first time there, I must tell you that I am super excited. Shopping in Vegas is unbeatable. All major designers have a store there. You can literally get anything you want!

This will be the perfect way to start my 5 month vacation starting in April. What would make it even more enjoyable is if I would for sure know that upon my return in September I wouldn't have to take this damn marketing course again.

Ops I did it again!

Monday night, after a few shots of tequila and some cheesy pop music from my teenage years blasting from the computer, I gave the white wall posing another try.

This is most definitely not my most original look although it would appear otherwise. I can not take credit for anything you see.

The make-up was inspired by the The Chic muse.
Although I have been sporting the same old cat eye look since I was 18, I have never exaggerated as much as I did in this post.

The styling would have been my own if I haven't decided to add this faux fur hat to the mix. Not that the hat isn't mine but most normally I wouldn't have paired the two together unless large portions of alcohol had been ingested most certainly not the case after just a few sips of that yummy Mexican poison. Iulia from Dream Size Zero seems to have such a strong grasp of me that not only do I shamelessly and poorly copy her posing but it seems unconsciously her styling as well.

But no worries! I am still my old tacky glitzy self, so my next look later this week will bring exactly that.

Well I had another post in mind for tonight but due to first of all lack of time and second some pressing matters on my mind I have to open today's post to extreme harsh and honest criticism.

For months and months, I have been told to rethink about "rebranding" the blog. I've put it off for too long and it now needs to be done.

So I ask you now for honest feedback on what I do well and what I do bad.

I need to know what you enjoy currently about my blog and what you think needs improvement.

What do you want to continue seeing?

What do you want to start seeing?

I'm interested in feedback not only on content ( picture quality, posing, backgrounds, styling, concept, writing) but also on blog layout and ease of navigation.

What else do you think I should venture into beside the things you have already seen?

In order for this to be truly beneficial it is very important that you do not perceive this as a cheap ploy to see who my haters are or that my opinion of you will be negatively affected.

Found this vintage Henry Pollack hat last spring at a flea market for $1, a fraction of what they normally cost. Now, I'm not a huge hat connoisseur but I think some restoration would be needed as the hat has lost some of its shape along the years.

My best advice for finding real vintage designer pieces is go to garage sales/flea markets in affluent neighborhoods of your city. The quality of the clothes sold there is unbeatable.

I have been obsessed with the whole fair isle sweater dress since August when I was scanning the pages of September Vogue on the beaches of Cabo. Although the sun was blazing hot at that time, I knew that upon my return to Vancouver, nice chilly weather would sweep soon and a great sweater dress was needed to get me through the cold months.

And this Forever 21 dress sure did!

I have been wearing it non stop since I got it to the point that is piling so badly in some areas. I regret not buying multiples of it. This dress is as cozy as it looks good.

To me that is fashion perfection!

P.S. Happy Valentine's day for you guys that celebrate it. We don't, just cause we don't believe that society norms should be telling us when we should celebrate our love for each other. We have our own special day and that is called our anniversary! This is just another capitalistic plot to get you to spend more money on things you didn't really need to begin with in the first place!

Vancouver Neighborhoods: Yaletown

The first time I took you through a little walk in our diverse city was back in early December when me and Jen strolled Chinatown together.

Today I will show you another lovely neighborhood :

Yaletown.

Not so long ago, Yaletown was known as the industrial part of the city stocking warehouses for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

In the 80's Yaletown changed its focus from an industrial neighborhood to a trendy up and coming place to be as young urban professionals started moving in the area.

Today's Yaletown is known as Vancouver's upscale trendy neighborhood full of unique boutiques and cutting edge restaurants.

So in my opinion what can you do in Yaletown?

Among many other things, you can shop for amazing jewelery pieces and local designers at FineFinds Boutique...

You can try painting yourself a masterpiece while sharing a bottle of wine among friends at Raw Canvas...

At the beginning of the year I mentioned some of my potential travel plans. At that time all it seemed to be was a dream of places I would want to visit during my semester off.

I am happy to say that until now it looks as if the Japan trip along with London & Romania will be actually happening.

The Japan trip is the one I am the most exited about. It's a three week trip to Japan, where I will be visiting and studying Japanese language and culture at universities in Nagoya, Kyoto and Tokyo.

Tomorrow I am attending an info session on it at my school and as long as 9 more people sign up for it, this trip will be most definitely a GO!

Yeah!

Up to a month ago, I would have cringed at the idea of shooting an outfit against a white wall.

How boring one would have thought!

No no, Its all in the method you do it.

And so I learned or I think I did from the master herself, Iulia from Dream Size Zero. Not only are her poses naturally wicked but she is probably the coolest person I have met( well we don't know each other personally yet) but just take a look and you will see for yourself. Although I do not embody her carefree naturalness ( I'm uptight by nature), I tried to embody a certain Iulia spirit in these photos. It sure made shooting these photos a lot easier having Iulia as my inspiration.

Not only that but she has also become my shoe consultant. Together we have pledged to one another never again to let ourselves buy uncomfortable shoes. So we have found ourselves on a journey towards finding dreamy shoes one can seriously walk in!

So a lot of vintage and just a bit of attitude made this look happen!

Last night as I was having dinner at Cardero, a woman dining alone caught my attention. It was obvious she wasn't waiting for someone, or that someone stood her up. Rather she had decided to brave society's misconceptions about dining alone and went out to enjoy a lovely meal out even if she actually didn't have anybody to share it with.

Although I strongly appreciate her courage ( knowingly very well that if I would be in that position I could never do it), I started to think about how lucky some us are to actually have someone in our lives to share all these little things. It makes you realize how we take some things for granted and we don't truly value them.

So lets make today January 31st, Companionship Day and thank someone very near to us for just actually being there.

I sat down last year and calculated the amount of money I throw dearly at your cashiers and wow did the numbers shock me. For being one that always complains that I can not afford on my student budget designer shoes every month, well let me tell you that I can sure spend the equivalent YES each month in your store.

I have never once entered it without purchasing something except one time when I headed for the cashier with an arm full of goodies and realized that I forgot my cards at home. I came back the next day and they were gone SOB!!!!!

Throughout the past year I have received emails asking me about my actual ethnicity. People seem curious as to why I blog so much about Romanian designers despite having a middle eastern name while living in Canada.

I have never revealed my true origins on this blog but since so many of you have an interest in my roots, well it's time I give you a bit of background about myself.

I was born in Romania 24 years ago to a Romanian mother and an Iranian father. My father was an international student studying engineering in Romania and met my mother in university. After graduation, he decided to settle in Romania and start a family there. At the age of 12, my family decided to immigrate to Canada in search for a better and safer life away from the dangers of post-communist Romania.

I speak fluent Romanian although my writing is terrible yet only mildly understand Farsi without being able to communicate more than 10 words.

So now you have a bit of background as to who I am!

It's quite hard to make a mistake though when you are posing on the sidewalk and a man nearby is holding a camera with a 9 inch lens.

Last Monday, as I got ready to go over to my friend's house, subconsciously inspired by this amazing outfit worn by Ioana, I grabbed my leopard coat and dashed for the train. The sub zero weather of last week called for a very warm coat and this H&M coat is exactly that.

My friend Roshanak is one of the best hostess ever. On top of always making me lunches and letting me play in her closet full of treasures gathered from around the globe, she offered to take some outfit photos of myself that day. No fancy camera, no special lenses,with just a plain old point and shoot , she was able to capture me like nobody has ever done with a no-frills camera. She let me borrow all of the amazing accessories you see such as the hat and the rings ... speaking of rings I have to do something about the fact that I do not own any obnoxious statement pieces.

I have been specifically tagged by the wonderful Anaivilo from Wonder Fashion to reveal 7 things about me as a rule for accepting the Stylish blogger award.

Since I have long done something like this, I think I will put my own twist on it and reveal 7 weird things about me cause we all have some weird in us and I am most definitely one of the weirdest people you will meet. Actually weird is just another word for unique so I gladly accept this trait.

So here is my list with no logical explanation why I do the things I do.

1. I have to sleep fully covered under a blanket even in extreme hot weather otherwise the Boogy man will come and take whatever parts of my body are uncovered.

2.When in extreme boredom situations, I take binoculars and stare into people's homes. Not to see anything perverted, but to see how they have decorated their homes.

3.As a very young child, I had 4 sets of imaginary friends due to not having many real ones. My parents were over paranoid with the dangers of post- communist Romania and therefore were overly strict with who I was allowed to be friends with.

4. Moving on the same train of thought, I now carry imaginary conversations with REAL people in my head to the point that I believe I actually had that conversation.

5. I wear black and no-makeup on days I don't feel like participating in school. It's my way of saying please don't pick on me!

6. My eyes hurt when I see someone crying, touching their eyes or if I see smoke. So next time I'm crying with you, it's not cause I actually care, it's just cause you are causing my eyes Physical Pain!

7.I'm probably one of the only people who hates Mac Computers even though I am typing from one right now. Given the chance, I would not buy it again.

How long has it been since Maxi appeared on the blog? Too long I tell you. And what a wonderful way of making a comeback appearance with a walk in the park with mommy!

Actually lately he has been ignoring me quite a lot. A punishment for the days I neglect him and don't give him the attention he deserves!

On another note I am starting entrepreneurial marketing tonight and I am terrified. I can not tell you how I am shivering with fear due to the 30% passing rate this course has. Pray for me that I am not one of the unlucky 70%.

My mind is scattered at the moment and I have a lot of random thoughts such as:

1. I own a lot of designer collaborations for mass retailers. It all started with this dress.

2.Dundarave Village is one my favorite places on earth. This is where these shots were taken. I'm thinking of featuring it in my " Vancouver neighborhoods" section.

3.Animal print, fur and over the knee boots are a recipe for disaster when worn together but not when worn together by ME!

Welcome 2011!

Impatiently waiting for the new year to begin, I got ready quite early yesterday afternoon, then waited by the window for nightfall to arrive and the celebrations to begin. With a glass of champagne and a fabulous cupcake I was ready to say goodbye to 2010 and welcome 2011 with open arms!

Unlike like last year where my resolutions were mainly concerned with creating my own sense of style, this year my resolutions are regarding my personal life. After many years of slaving away in school and not doing much for myself that I truly enjoy , I decided that this will be the year where I will try to travel as much as I can. If everything goes according to plan and let's hope it does, my travel plans until September look something like this:
